Knowledge is power and the truth will set you free. The press and all the rights they uphold should be able to inform and bring the truth to the people. It is through our journalists and media workers wherein the voices of the people are heard, and the truth within a society continues to prevail. Press freedom means rightful freedom for all一 citizens, lawmakers, politicians, and everyone else in between.

What activities are in store for KALAYAAN 2021?

ANGGULO

Anggulo is our Notion Zine featuring volunteer artworks and written pieces by the Filipino youth following the translations of Anggulo as Angle or perspective, and Ang gulo as “how messy”, with the Change (of Perspective) in the New Decade). The magazine focuses on new perspectives, reflections, and other coming-of-age realizations as a Gen Z Filipino.

Freedom Wall

Our Freedom Wall is geared towards starting online discussion threads and conversations regarding relevant topics in today’s society. It values the importance of openness and transparency, while creating an open atmosphere for all thoughts, ideas, and opinions.
